The Great Australian Outback Cattle Drive, 2007
The Great Australian Outback Cattle Drive is an epic experience involving 500 head of cattle and 150 horses - and you can be in the saddle beside them.
You'll ride with some of Australia's finest drovers and relive a very real part of Australian history, droving cattle on horseback through the Outback. And you don't have to be an experienced rider to take part.
This unique and rewarding experience offers you the opportunity to re-live the glory years of Australia's Outback cattle drovers. You can join one of seven tours, each with its own highlights and camp village. Each tour is five days and four nights.
As the riders set off on their day's adventure, a support crew tends camp. The camp is a village of superior tent accommodation with facilities including hot showers, flushing toilets, bar, library and a kitchen of top caterers specialising in Australian cuisine.
